5th-9th October in Valencia will see the TP52 World Sailing Championship 2010, to be held at the Marina Real Juan Carlos I and will see ten teams fighting for the world crown in Valencia.
The World Sailing Management, organizers of the event, Real Club Náutico and the City of Valencia announced today the World Sailing Championship TP52 2010 will be held in the waters of Valencia, you will be able to see the participating boats when they are moored in the Marina Real Juan Carlos I next the to the spectacular Veles e Vents buiding. An estimated 10 teams will particitate, battling for the title in a program that includes a maximum of ten sleeves scoring, including up to nine windward / leeward and coastal between 20 and 30 miles scheduled for Thursday, October 7. The coastal race will have a coefficient of 1.25. Each day they can hold a maximum of 3 races and the championship will be declared valid with a minimum of 3 test. The 3rd and 4th of October will be for measurement, inspection and registration. There will be a final awards ceremony at 18:00 h 9 October.The TP52 World Championship 2009 was held in Palma de Mallorca in October last year, involving 10 teams from nine nationalities and victory went to Argentinian Alberto Roemmers Matador (ARG).
